Up & coming Londoner Shadez The Misfit is releasing his 2nd mixtape on17th December.
Confused by the constant barrage of formulaic pop music, the tidal wave of ‘fake it to make it’ attitude & the constant stream of ‘you should do this’ advice surrounding him after the release of his 1st mixtape Shadez decided it was time to fight back, that his next project should simply represent who he is and comment on life as an up & coming artist.
So Shadez has worked hard to put together an eclectic set, pulling in a couple of favours from amongst others the likes of Toddla T (who co-produced ‘Breakin Space‘ with DJ Lukey from Stooki Sound system) & Josh Osho
who features on (‘Don’t Care Won’t Care‘) to deliver . He’s proud of his efforts & hopes you’ll like them too.
Confused/G Shock’s Spirit Of Toughness Awards & MTV’s Brand New Unsigned to performing @ Jazz Cafe with legendary US hip hop producer Ski Beats (Jay Z – ‘Dead Presidents’) he’s been on his grind. He has also hosted & performed for the legendary G-Shock Sessions sharing the stage with the likes of Sway, D Double E, Loick Essien, Wretch 32 & Roll Deep while also finding time to model for Katie Eary (Kanye Wests’s designer) for her collaborative show with Puma for London Fashion Week.
Prior to this he created a stir on the underground with performances at the Walthamstow Festival, The Cordless Show & Lovebox Festival, Shadez came to mainstream attention when he won the Channel 4 Evo Music Rooms unsigned competition ahead of thousands of other bands & performed live on national tv alongside Plan B amongst others.
