Author Jack Lugar wrote a “survival guide” titled “The Starving Artist’s Diet,” exploring the culture of true starving artists and what truly defines one. I wanted to showcase and explore the budding talents of today and compare the struggles of artists who sacrifice for the perfection of their craft. This edition introduces conceptual photographer, Mougabe “Purp” St. Louis as he reveals what inspires him to keep creating.
